o.d.c. 4 is finished!
Allyson, Jeremy and I have finished another volume of the Olympic Drawing Club zine. This one is volume 4, because we skipped volumes 2 and 3 for right now. It looks great if I do say so myself. Jeremy and I are also beginning to make some headway on another project. We are going to get some zine racks together and curate a selection of zines to sell around town -- so be on the look out!

kickstand release party!
Kickstand: The Second Coming is having a Release Party! Come celebrate with the crew and get your copy of the latest issue!
Kickstand is a zine about Bicycle love in Charlottesville. I help put it together and do some of the illustrations. Microcosm Publishing says: "Kickstand is a zine written about bicycles by the people who love them. It's not a repair zine, or a how-to, but one-page stories of adoration for bikes."
Friday, May 26 @ The Bridge, 6pm - 10pm$5 donation at the door gets you in and also a copy of the zine!
The event will feature:
-Bike Noise by Wendy Hsu of the Hz Collective!
-Bike Storytelling by Secretly Y'all!
-Readings from the zine!
-Bike Bell Chorus!
-Bike Scavenger Hunt after the party!

zine project!
A few weeks ago, my friend Jeremy Taylor and I started a zine project called the Olympic Drawing Club. We are currently putting together the second volume (which includes drawings by Allyson Mellberg-Taylor as well!) We are hoping to make this into an ongoing series, aiming to make a zine every two weeks or so. I am really excited about it!
