summertime funtimes!

I finally got around to canning some stuff today! I made some white cherry preserves. I am including the other pictures because the hydrangea blue looks so nice next to the warm yellow of the cherries!

and it begins!

We are going to move out of our huge beautiful double porch Charlottesville mansion come mid-July and it is so full of JUNK. It's actually kind of amazing how much stuff has accumulated!

Upon seeing Angel and I carrying a couch through our neighborhood to the Salvation Army, one of our awesome neighbors loaned us her laundry-transporting shopping cart. We loaded it up a few times and began the bittersweet moving process.

back in town!

For the last two weeks, I have been gallivanting about NYC and Philly. I saw some wonderful friends and lots of art. Also, I helped out with the play I mentioned in my last post! It was an awesome six night run with a whole bunch of completely talented and supremely lovely folks.

Here's a picture of one of the beautiful fabric pieces in the Louise Bourgeois show at Cheim and Read in Chelsea.

printing posters!

I am printing an edition of posters for the Missoula Oblongata. Morgan of Puppet Uprising designed them and I am super excited to help with the show they are announcing!
(A secret location dessert theater piece of awesomeness!)

I finally finished scanning the work from Far Out, Right Here. It's a tight little series that I am still working on. Here are some images:

revel!

The Bridge's Annual Revel Fundraiser was Saturday and the Revel Park Service (R.P.S.), including yours truly, decorated part of the gallery space to look like a park. Dumpstered paper and cardboard + good folks = silly times. Also, I made a little painting on a piece of wood for their silent auction -- nothing too fancy, but I like the way it turned out. Lastly, Shell and I had a photo shoot with her chickens and a little red bike, and it was also silly. Check out the first annual C'ville Tour De Coop on the 21st!
