Today I canned a whole bunch of peaches! I put a bit of lavender in the syrup and now I can't stop thinking about making lavender peach pie in the middle of winter! I also traded a friend for two kinds of beautiful pickles that she made! Yeah!
And below is the lavender peachy leftover juice/sugar/water that I am currently boiling down to a syrup to put on ice cream! I lit the juice mixture from behind to highlight the color, but the picture makes it look kind of crazy. Like a potion from Hogwarts or something...
Also, I got to paint for a lot of the day today! Hooray!
